I really like Zion - awesome main riff and the way guitar and drums really lock in

Know You - beautiful, memorable guitar solo (or maybe it's just a bridge of sorts)

Daisy Chain - Maybe my favorite

Lie To Yourself - Chorus really rocks - really good all around

Actually, they all rock in their own way. I don't mean to keep rambling like a groupie here, but I'm really floored with these tunes and the way they come across. Mia's vocals are....well, unbelievable as well is the guitar work and monster tones. Steve is really nailing it too....just an awesome CD all in all. The attention to detail and how deep these songs are. The style is similar to some of the MFoN tunes, but it sounds like you guys have jumped light years ahead of where you were then. It may just be that this style is right up my alley :) I've been listening to the new Fuel CD a lot lately and there are similar elements (hard, yet melodic with some keys/effects) that I always enjoy.
I can't wait to get the CD!

And then there's "Fading"..... My favorite one today.

I'll be able to make a better judgement once I hear the the entire tunes at a better sample rate :)

"Fading" is my favorite because of the guitars and vocal content combined.
"Passion" disguised as another name in the past, follows in a close second.
Just go ahead and consider guitar content a given in all of the songs. That way I won't have to post it after every song!!
"Don't Wanna Be" is another solid hard rock song with mature lyrics and defined tone control. If you want to learn to play and/or sing, and be serious about it, take notes from Gretchen!
The title track serves as 4th for me. It's definately a song to share with someone you care about.
"Breathe" is next. This song hasn't changed a lot from pre-recording to post-recording, so my thoughts are the same as before- "personal".
As for slower songs, "Every Moment" is first on the list. In my opinion, a follow-up to "Adoration"(unreleased). Single position guitar mixed with full chord progression. Clean mixed with distortion. And vocals that are perfectly in seqeunce. A song that pulls your attention away from everything else.
"Let It Go" is a great accoustic song. I've heard it from the band for quite some time now, and the content has never faded!
"Know You" seems to be a song that asks of your attention. So do the right thing-- pay attention!
And "Daisy Chain" is a song that anyone can get into. Put together in a simple manner, Daisy Chain is easy to follow and fun to listen to.
The rest of the songs are still fairly new to me so I won't put them in the list.
I know that everyday work combined with everyday band practice combined with all of the other things in life to deal with, has to have a strain on the band.
But relax for a minute guys! Have fun. You've done it. Again!

I honestly can't pick my favorite song - I love them all. This is one of the few cds I have listed to that I absolutely love every track on it. However, if I had to pick a favorite, right now I would probably have to say Passion or Know You because they have been stuck in my head since I heard them in the studio.
One step I make an imprint . . . Two steps it's commitment . . .
Three steps I'm not done yet . . . Draw my other leg up and the pace is set - doubleDrive

the beginning of Daisy Chain with the drums and with the guitar is sooo gripping! I cannot wait to hear the rest of this powerful song :)

Time for me to chime in here. I've been around these guys for about 6 years or so and have been there through the good and the bad times. I have had the privilege of hearing the new cd in it's entirety, not just snippets and I have to say that I am no less than fortunate to be around to watch what could happen next. The level of excellency and care to craft a piece of art shows through in the musicianship, lyrics, production, and now into the thought that is being put into production and marketing. To the songs...
1. Fading-amazing and radio friendly. Fills the shoes left open by Evanescence without being Evanescence.
2. In the Mean Time-My favorite. Even more radio friendly. This one I can't put into words. When you hear it you will know. (Can you feel it?)
3.Breathe-Highly personal and thought provoking. This could potentially touch a lot of people in ways they have never been touched.
4. Zion-Creative. Great mix of vocals with drums and other music. Powerful images.
5. Let it Go-My personal least favorite but I'm not sure why. It's well done and a message for many.
6. Know You-Great ballad. I see a video for this but I will probably lose that battle. Powerful imagery.
7. Don't Wanna Be-Very catchy. I find myself singing this one a lot.
8. Passion-Another favorite. Very simple but powerful. Musically it comes on and I turn it up. I sing this one all day as well.
9. Daisy Chain-Old concert favorite that has evolved into a new song. Again catchy lyrics that will stay in your head all day.
10. Every Moment-Ballad feel. Nice images again. Something we need to be reminded of constantly and this is catchy and memorable so it can stick with you. Analogy I've never heard before but will never forget.
11. Lie to Yourself-Again very catchy. It almost a shame this is so fun with such weighty subject matter.
Grace and peace,
Mark

Yes, Zion is it for me. Love that main riff!!! Reminds me of something that Farmer Boys would do on their latest album "The Other Side". Tight, heavy, melodic and catchy! Also, Mia you're voice has improved since the last album about...1000%. It's very strong and you're pitch is right on! Please don't tell me you used a 'pitch corrector'. NAW, I know you didn't!
